BCS RankingsBCS Rankings, In a typical week of college football, the classification of new out on Sunday afternoon (or Sunday night when the BCS began to be tabulated). Weeks were not normal, however. With the games taking place on Sunday and also being a Monday, every poll decided to wait until Tuesday morning to launch its new classification.

When the new polls come out at last, will be interesting to see where you end up Big Ten teams. Wisconsin is expected to jump soon after the opening of a solid game, and Nebraska could see up some points as well. Michigan State may fall due to a sloppy effort against Youngstown State, Ohio, while the state could enter the low teens after a 42-0 victory over Akron on Saturday.

Penn State is located just in the preseason USA Today Poll, and we could see the Nittany Lions to be beaten by a few points. At least that can be attached at the end of the top 25 of the size of Iowa and northwest.

It’s a safe bet that Michigan will remain unranked, and is also a safe bet that Notre Dame will be reduced from 16 in the AP poll. This could create a game this weekend between two teams ranked no. If the last couple of years are any indication, the winner could come back at 25, even if neither team is ranked for the game.
