16-foot Python16-foot Python, A python 16 feet long was captured after workers South Water Management District of Florida found that he had eaten an adult deer.
The huge reptile had apparently eaten an adult deer weighs about 76 pounds
just before he was captured and is about 44 inches wide, as a result.

Burmese pythons are not native to the Everglades and have spread northward after many pet snakes were released into the wild, threatening native species. The snake was killed with a shotgun after being captured.

Pythons mainly eat small mammals and birds, but larger specimens are happy to swallow alligators, deer and pigs.

Last year, scientists in Denmark uses computer technology to look inside the bodies of a python after he had swallowed a rat whole. It took 132 hours for the snake to fully digest rodents, with the gut of the snake and its expansion to increase heart rate to help break their substantial snack.
