A Perfect Getaway

A Perfect Getaway, I just now found me a chance to see A Perfect Getaway and I was totally surprised by the new focus of this film had, it shines a new light on the genre film. It is aa great ride, that’s what it is and this is a SPOILER FREE review movie! (Yes, it has been out a while, but the most favorable way to see this movie is a virgin, if possible. It adds to the experience of the movie.)

The synopsis: Two young lovers on vacation in Hawaii find that psychopaths are stalking and murder of tourists in the islands.

What a perfect description of a slasher film wonderfully attractive and fresh.

It is directed and written by David Twohy (“The Chronicles of Riddick, Pitch Black, The Fugitive)

When I began to see A Perfect Getaway, seemed like any other bar em thriller where I expected everyone to start running through the woods fearing for their lives. We started following a young couple on their honeymoon, Cliff (Steve Zahn) and Cydney (Milla Jovovich). Our honeymoon stop for some hitchhikers who end up being a couple and not angry, Kale (Chris Hemsworth [] Thor) & Cleo (Marley Shelton).

Cliff and Cydney After losing, they find a little battle weary, paranoid type of madman named Nick (Timothy Olyphant) and his girlfriend, Gina (Kiele Sanchez). Later, Cliff and Cydney notice that Kale and Cleo have been completed in the same neck of the woods they are in. remote traveled 10 miles to go.

This sets the basis for creating a neurotic viewer began trying to understand who is about to do what. (BTW, you may be wrong.)

The film moves a bit of a slow accumulation through the first hour of dialogue and interaction between characters left pieces of tracks and builders of continuing tension might wonder if such-and-so will start trying to kill what-his-name. Zahn, Jovovich, Hemsworth, Olyphant & S?nchez each played their role to perfection. Olyphant fans more than likely enjoy this feature of yours.

I remember seeing ads for this movie and does not seem so different from any other movie screamer, but completely missed the turn to marketing to attract moviegoers in. It’s the marketing of this film that is to blame for barely breaking even at the box office, but the twist is a hard thing to explain or market. That’s a shame.

It’s a great movie you start to spin and if you like scary, slasher films in the woods, I think you’ll love A Perfect Getaway for the way in which dissemination approaches Twohy real bad.

In my book, this is a movie I can add Twohy next to Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riddick! I totally recommend it as a rental and if you like the genre or any of the actors, adding to his collection will not be an error.
