Swiss Family Robinson, American film Swiss Family Robinson was released in 1960 and was based on the novel Der Schweizerische Robinson Johann David Wyss. It is the story of a shipwrecked family begins to live on an island. The family goes to New Guinea, but due to the storm and the pirate captain’s leave the family on an island.
