Susan Sarandon & ReunionSusan Sarandon & Reunion, Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis graced stage Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto today (6 June) to mark the 20th anniversary of the iconic film Thelma & Louise feminist.

TIFF Ligthbox Bell, home of the Toronto International Film Festival, which celebrates the anniversary of the film with a special screening. No sign of Brad Pitt, unfortunately. Ridley Scott directed Thelma and Louise from a screenplay written by Callie Khouri. The film is often studied in college classroooms as a feminist work and an example of a movie script well written.

The film was nominated for six Academy Awards in 1992, winning best screenplay written directly for the screen by Ms. Khouri. Both Ms. Sarandon and Ms. Davis were nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role award.
