Suffolk Community College, Suffolk County CC 4, Bunker Hill CC 0, seeded Suffolk County Community College in gale in the first round of play at the NJCAA Division III tournament with a 4-0 shutout of Bunker Hill Community College afternoon Thursday Wehrum Stadium.

Midfielder Rafaele Rajo established a goal by Joe Digiglio 3 1 / 2 minutes into the game and the Clippers took the lead quickly in the beginning. Charles Paracat scored goals either side of halftime intermission, both assisted by Ricky Rada, to give Suffolk a 3-0 lead and Chris Posilico had a goal unassisted in the 67th minute to complete the scoring.

Jesse Nulty guards and Marcelo Guardado combined to make seven saves in the shutout for the county of Suffolk, who had a 10-8 advantage in shots.

Joe Parsons has made four saves for Bunker Hill.

Suffolk County meets Ichland College in the semifinals Friday 5 pm. Richland County College 2-1 loss to Morris second matches Thursday.

Bunker Hill ends its season Friday with a noon game against Morris.
