Stores Open On New Year S Day 2011, (AFP) – West Ham United is out of the relegation zone and into 15th place after a 2-0 victory at Wolves crucial fellow wrestlers at Upton Park on Saturday. Avram Grant side began 2011 at the bottom of the Premier League but the Hammers hope to win the New Year proved the turning point in their campaign discouraging. They were gifted the lead through a goal against Ronald Zubar camp early in the second half and Freddie Sears sealed the points with his first goal since he scored on his West Ham debut in March 2008.

Piquionne came down the right and sent over a cross that Cole should have broken the goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey.

Cole has completely missed his kick but the ball hit his knee and ran Zubar defender in the bottom corner.

Matthew Upson almost up West Ham’s lead when he headed against the bar corner Parker.

Moments later it was the turn of wolves “to hit the post with a header Ebanks-Blake.

That proved costly for the young Wolves striker Sears was Tal Ben Haim past Hennessey cross to seal the points in the 79th minute.
