Steven Slater

Steven Slater, Steven Stater, an employee of JetBlue since 2008, to land the plane with passengers on board, as a result of a passenger on board unrurly.

The incident occurred after a passenger Slater ignored instructions to stay seated, and rose to reach their belongings in an overhead compartment. As Slater approached the passengers, their luggage hit the flight attendant in the head.

Annoyed, Slater requested an apology, and instead, passengers were told Slater. The flight attendant continued his tirade, shouting:

“For the passenger who called me a f — m – er, f — you,” Slater ranted over the intercom, passengers said.

Slater slid down the emergency escape chute, fleeing to the parking lot of employees to a car that had left there.
