Steven Jackson, (AP) – Running back Steven Jackson was in the range of the St. Louis Rams’ despite the absence of two days of practice and to have limited work Friday because of a groin injury.

Defensive tackle Clifton Ryan was inactive for the second consecutive week on Sunday because of migraines.

Jackson missed the second half of last week 30-16 victories over the Washington Redskins after tackling a gang and having his legs lengthened. Jackson has played the last third of the 2009 season without practicing because of a herniated disc that required offseason surgery.

Running back Julius Jones, regarded as the backup behind Justin Forseti, was among the inactive Seattle Seahawks. Linebacker Leroy Hill was placed on the injured list with calf and Achilles tendon injuries.

Free safety Oshiomoghe Atogwe, hampered by a bruised thigh deep in practice, was active for the Rams, but James Butler started in his place.

The Seahawks added offensive guard Mike Gibson and defensive tackle Craig Terrill, Terrill but was inactive. Tackle-guard Chester Pitts was released.
