Steve Carell Signs Up To Conviction

Steve Carell has signed on to star in and produce ‘Conviction’.
The ‘Crazy, Stupid Love’ actor will work with the producer of silver ‘Lethal Weapon’ Joel in the movie, which tells the story of a brain bank robber serving five years in prison after a heist goes wrong when he is forced a FBI agent to entrap his protege when you remove the work of millions of dollars.
The project is expected to have a similar tone to comedy crime film ’48 Hours’ and ‘Ocean Eleven’ – starring Brad Pitt and George Clooney and saw a group of criminals trying to steal three U.S. casinos.
Jonathan Herman is set to write the script of ‘Conviction’, the new script comes two years after Warner Bros. and Silver Pictures bought a draft of the script that sounded similar to ‘Heat’ 1995 film of the offense.
Andrew Rona head Silver Pictures will produce along with Steve, and Alex Heineman company is in line to be the executive producer of the film with Vance DeGeneres and Charlie Hartsock, who runs the company of the star 49-year-old carousel production .
Steve’s next movie will see him starring in the comedy film “Looking for a friend to the end of the world ‘, which also is set to’ Pride & Prejudice ‘beauty function Keira Knightley and’ Two and a Half Men ‘actress Melanie Lynskey.
