Stephen King Talk ShowStephen King Talk Show, Horror author Stephen King is leading a leftist talk show for two radio stations in Maine, reports Associated Press. In order to balance what he sees as a trend right on the airwaves, the King has hired a former Green Party presidential candidate Vice President of the morning show co-host to speak at the two stations it owns.

The king made the announcement at a press conference in Bangor, Maine, at the headquarters of his three seasons of the area radio network. The show will feature 50-year-old Pat LaMarche and 43-year-old Don Cookson, a former television journalist. LaMarche vice presidential candidate in 2004.

“The morning show pulse” left offers views on issues of local and national news. According to Bangor WABI television, the show aims to be a voice for the public at Bangor and attract all viewers.

“We will try to be informative, we will be challenging, we are going to be fun and we will try to be a positive force in the community is something I’ve always tried to be a part,” said the writer.

The show will begin airing at 6 am on September 12, from WZON AM and FM.

“We’re a little to the left, but we’re right,” King joked during the press conference.
