Stan Musial, Obama has allowed the former St. Louis Cardinal Stan Musial at the White House on Tuesday to award him the Presidential Metal of Freedom, the highest civilian honor. In his speech, Obama said, “Stan matched his stirring with humility. He retired with 17 records – even as he missed a season in his first serve his country in the Navy.
