Springsteen Surprises At Tony Strollo Benefit, Bruce Springsteen has provided a helping hand for the family of one of his former trainers. The Asbury Park Press reports that The Boss gave a six-song impromptu performance Saturday night at an Asbury Park nightclub, surprising the crowd of more than 200 people.

It came during a benefit show honoring Tony Strollo, a 40-year-old Tinton Falls resident who died unexpectedly earlier this month, leaving a wife and two daughters.
