Springsteen European Tour
November 22, 2011 by staff
Springsteen European Tour, Bruce Springsteen has announced the first dates for his European tour with the E Street Band, The Associated Press reports.
They’ll play four shows in England during the summer: June 21 in Sunderland; June 22, Manchester; June 24, Isle of Wight Festival; and July 14, Hard Rock Calling in London.
Overall, the European shows will run from mid-May through the end of July.
They’ll also be touring in the United States, and that information will be released down the road.
The tour will be the first for the E Street Band since saxophonist Clarence Clemons died in June of complications from a stroke.
Springsteen’s last tour was the “Working on a Dream” tour, which ended in 2009.
Apparently a new album is in the works as well. “We want you to know that the music is almost done (but still untitled), we have almost settled on the release date (but not quite yet), and that we are all incredibly excited about everything that we’re planning for 2012,” read a post on brucespringsteen.net. “That’s all the info we have for right now, but we’ll get back to you — real soon.”
