It is a theme birthday party Popular, so if you are looking for a recipe SpongeBob-theme (party or not) – Krabby Patties are the obvious choice.

1 1 / 2 pound skinless salmon fillet
1 small red pepper, seeded and minced
2 green onions, finely chopped
1 / 4 cup creme fraiche or sour cream
1 large egg white

Coarsely chop the salmon so it is not quite the texture of the meat – it should be a few more pieces – if you hurry, you can start with salmon ground groceries.

In a bowl, combine the diced salmon with red peppers, green onions and sour cream. In a small bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form, add the fish.

Shape mixture into 6 patties. In a large heavy skillet heat a drizzle of canola oil or olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook patties, without crowding the pan, about 4 minutes, or until a nice crust forms. Turn them over and brown the other side – another few minutes.

Serve on a bun with mayonnaise or harissa mayo (if you wish), lettuce and tomato. If you wish, add a spoonful of tzatziki sauce instead of mayonnaise. Serves 6.
