We asked more than 1,000 male fans in the UK film on their own nights to watch movies about men compared with reality. Funny man Pegg, star of Burke and Hare & Shaun of the Dead, led the list of the ideal companion for a night after receiving 20 percent of the vote, ahead of Bruce Willlis hard man, 12 percent and fellow Briton Ricky Gervais, at eight percent.
Men Behaving Badly season with 19 films showing male bonding and bad behavior, including the A-Team, Easy Rider and the premiere of Jackass 3, and runs from October 3 to October 9.
The research also found that men in the UK has three best friends, on average, although the friendship fluctuate over the years. Men under 25 years say he has three best friends (24 percent), those aged 25-34 and 35-44 and settle for two-year decline of 45-54 age group for a best friend.
Only one in 10 men say they do not have a best friend and four percent say they feel they have more than 10 best friends. The guys luck!
Meanwhile, in a separate part of the survey, a trip to Las Vegas, as featured in Hangover, was chosen by the men in the UK as an oasis, with just over a quarter of men say they like to go there with friends, followed by a road trip, as seen in classic comedy Road Trip.
A comedic performance was third, as seen in Funny People, an Easy Rider style motorcycle road trip and a tour of concerts (Get Him To The Greek) complete the experiences of five boys.
