Sheila Bair, FDIC Chairman Sheila Bair, to leave the agency on July 8 after her term expires
Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., Sheila Bair, chairman of the agency plans to leave on July 8, according to a statement Monday. Bair said earlier it plans to leave the agency after her term expired. The statement said Bair final meeting would be in the first week of July
Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., Sheila Bair, chairman leaves the agency effective July 8, the FDIC said on Monday.
Bair began her five-year term as president in June 2006. The FDIC held a board meeting the first week of July, which will be the last meeting Bair at the agency.
