Shannen Doherty, Shannen Doherty is back, and no, she is resuming her role as Brenda Walsh. Despite leaving Malibu Beverly Hills, former “Beverly Hills, 90210″ star will soon appear on the small screen again as she recounts her upcoming wedding in a reality show for WETV.
Information Entertainment Weekly said the new show will feature Doherty charged with planning the wedding, while renovating your home. WETV executive John Miller told EW he hopes the new show will be successful. “People are going to see a side of Shannen never expected to see,” he said.
Doherty’s girlfriend, photographer Kurt Iswarienko also will star in the new show.
90,210 fellow alum Tori Spelling has also found success in reality television. Spelling and husband Dean McDermott have reality show-oxygen accessories, as their show “Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood”, which debuted in 2008.
What are some other “Beverly Hills, 90210″ star to these days? Although the coup-drama has been off the air for over 10 years, former cast members have been busy:
Jeannie Garth, who played Kelly Taylor, returned to her role in the remake of the series 90210, for the CW network.
Ian Ziering, who played Steve Sanders, seems to have made a name for him in comedy. He has had roles in “Biker Mice From Mars” and “Drawn Together”.
Brian Austin Green, who played David Silver, has remained on the small screen with roles in “Desperate Housewives” and others.
