Shane Hmiel Crash

Shane Hmiel Crash, Shane Hmiel crash is in the news. Former NASCAR driver Shane Hmiel is critical; yet stable condition at a hospital in the Indianapolis area after a terrible accident during a qualifying race in Terre Haute. It was not a NASCAR event, as NASCAR banned Hmiel from competition for life after failing three drug tests.
Hmiel was the race in a qualifier in Terre Haute for the United States Auto Racing Club when he slammed into a wall between the third and fourth times and drove several laps.

Shane Hmiel should undergo surgery within 24 hours, and was transported to Methodist in Indianapolis at the scene of the accident. It should survive this time. However, the racecar driver has a “long road” to recovery.

It’s just another injury that reminds us every day that the sport of racing is dangerous. Any sport can cause injuries, but these types of accidents can really make the life of a rider in reverse. Shane Hmiel crash was a terrible accident and we will keep you informed of his condition.
