Seychelles Airport: Drone Crash

The US embassy in Mauritius said the US Air Force MQ-9 Reaper drone was not armed and that the crash on Tuesday morning caused no injuries.
It said that the airport’s runaway has reopened for normal traffic. The US military and the civilian aviation authority of Seychelles are co-ordinating to remove the debris of the drone.
The US has used drones from the Seychelles to target al-Qaeda linked militants in Somalia. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
