Severe Storms

Severe Storms, The National Weather Service reports that showers and thunderstorms in the area could be severe with large hail, damaging winds and heavy rains. Wind gusts could reach as high as 70 mph.
Tornado watch issued for south central Texas until 3 am Residents of the Tri-State and the Kanawha Valley are expected to see major storms beginning Monday afternoon.
The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for most counties in the viewing area WOWK. Creeks and streams could raise as heavy rains during the afternoon and evening.

The Meteorological Service has Kentucky under a “moderate risk” for storms and tornadoes possible. Areas in West Virginia and Ohio are under a “slight risk” for a similar activity.
