Selling Spelling Manor

Selling Spelling Manor, Tonight at 9 p.m., HGTV will air “Selling Spelling Manor” which tells the story of Candy Spelling vacating her vast estate after British heiress Petra Ecclestone purchased the property.

The 57,000-square foot Los Angeles mansion was built by the late TV mogul Aaron Spelling, who produced such shows as “Mod Squad,” “Charlie’s Angels,” “Dynasty,” and “Beverly Hills, 90210?; Candy is his widow. Ecclestone’s father is the British billionaire and Formula One racing boss Bernie Ecclestone.

In the show, Candy gives viewers a tour of the estate, which features a billiard room; a bowling alley, an arcade, a silver room with place settings for more than 50 people, a gift room and a gift-wrapping room…and you get the idea. This is not a show that is going to delight the Occupy Wall Street crowd.
