Sean Foley, New York Daily News – Tiger Woods said only his desire to play in the Ryder Cup team during his press conference prior to the tournament in the PGA.

“Yes,” when he answered if he would be one of the four peaks captain Corey Pavin. But he added that he has not spoken since Pavin is Whistling Straits.

“I have not seen and hope not to be a team,” he said. “I would be able to play myself in this team.”

The global fight No. 1 is currently 10th in the list of Ryder Cup points with the top eight making the team automatically.

Woods also confirmed that Sean Foley may consider taking a new swing coach. Foley walked with Woods during the practice round yesterday. He coaches Sean O’Hair and Hunter Mahan, two practice partners Woods, but Tiger was asked to tape your swing.

“It’s certainly a possibility. No doubt,” he admitted. “But much other coaches out there (they are) a chance … that I have spoken. She wanted me to have a look at him today on video and so I can have a look at it and that’s what we did .
