Sccc, Liberal High School and Seward County Community College / Area Technical School join forces to set Tony Award musical West Side Story.

“This is a production very difficult to do, and very rarely climb,” drama teacher and communication at SCCC / ATS Alison Bridget Chambers said. “Therefore, the combination of forces.”

There will be meetings at 16 am Wednesday and Thursday at 18 pm the music room LHS. Auditions will be set for 6:00 p.m. on November 15 at the LHS music room and 18 hours on November 16 at SCCC / ATS Theater.

“Everyone has to audition,” said Chambers. “Of course, we will have the high school and college, but we are looking for all types. There is a huge age range in the distribution. ”

Chambers explained why the game was chosen.

(LHS drama instructor Lauren) Peck and I are friends, and we both have always wanted this game, “Chambers said.‚ÄĚTogether we have the talent and resources. It is such an iconic piece of literature. The music is incredible. The story is beautiful. ”

The play will be performed 17 to 20 February next year at the Auditorium of James Maskus.
