Sc State Fair

Sc State Fair, (AP) – A man was electrocuted in Florida in the configuration set up a trip to the South Carolina State Fair in Columbia.

Multiple media outlets reported 43 years, Roger Thompson of Brooksville, Florida, doing work in electronics in the path Rainbow when he was electrocuted about 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Thompson was taken to Palmetto Health Richland Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Thompson had been with North American Midway Entertainment for over 20 years.

State Fair manager Gary Goodman says he does not know what happened. Columbia and Richland County officials and the public safety and hygiene are of the investigation.

The show opens Wednesday.

A North American Midway employee has been killed in Colombia in 2008 when he was hit with a walk.
