Telecast last night, hosted by Justin Timberlake and musical guest Lady Gaga, generated an increase of 21 percent end of the season last year, marking the fourth year running “Saturday Night Live” has equaled or exceeded the season finale last year.

Last night’s “Saturday Night Live” was the # 1 telecast of the night in households measured in the market ahead of all primetime programming on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox
In the 25 Local People Meter markets, “Saturday Night Live” averaged a score of 4.5, 18 shares, making it the # 1 telecast of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX. Facing the end of the season last year, “Saturday Night Live” was 32 percent in the Local People Meter (4.5 vs. 3.4).
National ratings, the demographic and total viewer results from the night before “Saturday Night Live” is due from Nielsen Thursday, May 26.
