Sex and the City 2 Premiere

Sex and the City 2 Premiere:Midtown West – The stars of “Sex and the City 2″ was received by the hordes of fans at the premiere of the film at Radio City Music Hall on Monday night.
The fans – most of them women – are pushing each other in the way of trying to get as close as possible to actress Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, and many other stars, as they came to the event.
“We got here at 2:30 to make sure that we would have in front to see Sarah,” said Natalie Galbraith, 23, she and her friend, Jessica Hulmes, 24, both from South Jersey.
For most fans, the highlight of the evening was seeing Sarah Jessica Parker, and for those who either lucky or persistent enough to catch a line behind barriers fan to talk to the actress and get his autograph.
“We were so happy that she came to talk to the fans and thank us for our support because that is exactly why we’re here – to support it,” said Layla Overman, 27, who got autographs Parker along with his friends Lyndsie Walker, 18, and Abisha Chavez, 20, all of whom live in Astoria, Queens.
For a long time fan Winston Rachel, 22, arrived in Manhattan from St. Louis to have a long “Sex and the City” weekend with her friend Megan Chanel, 22, who lives on the Upper East Side. The girls watched a marathon of episodes of television series and the first film “Sex and the City” pending the release of the Monday night.
“Getting to know Sarah Jessica Parker at the premiere was a great way to end our ‘Sex and the City weekend,” said Winston.
Some fans for the premiere dressed in the spirit of the movie focus on fashion, like Elisa van Velzen, 24, and Melissa Sombroek, 27, who were in town in the Netherlands.
“We’re big fans of the series and the first film and made the ‘Sex and the City tour of New York, so we thought we had reached the red carpet and dressed for the occasion in’ Sex and the style of City, “said van Velzen.
“We are so disappointed that we stopped going home on Wednesday and did not get to see the film when it leaves here on Thursday,” he said.
In addition to sharing the film celebrities who walked the blue carpet included Jennifer Love Hewitt, Gabourey Sidibe, Amanda Peet, Donald Trump, Howard Stern, Jerry Seinfeld, Ashanti, and Liza Minelli, who has a cameo in the film.
The after-party will be held at Lincoln Center.
