Sarah Palin Mocks Tina Fey In ’30 Rock’ Parody

Sarah Palin Mocks Tina Fey In ’30 Rock’ Parody, Sarah Palin has given Tina Fey a taste of her own medicine.
The former Republican vice presidential candidate has portrayed her liberal-minded celebrity doppelganger in a “trailer” for “31 Rock,” a fictitious version of Fey’s Emmy-winning NBC sitcom.
The parody video, which was released by conservative news site Independent Journal, follows Lynn Melon (Palin), a television writer in New York City who struggles to find a balance between political correctness and her values.
While donning glasses and clothing similar to Fey’s Liz Lemon character from “30 Rock,” Palin’s character identifies her “safe space” and demands a Big Gulp as she tries to get respect from other writers.
There’s even a cameo from “30 Rock’s” Kevin Brown, who refers to Palin’s book as a “great reminder of the pressures of PC culture.” Also appearing in the parody are Sens. John McCain and Lindsey Graham, who both spoof characters from the original show.
The video of Palin’s stunt was released only days after Fey resurrected her infamous Palin impression when she co-hosted “Saturday Night Live” with Amy Poehler. Fey also returned to her “SNL” stomping grounds this fall to appear in a “30 Rock” spoof with former co-stars Alec Baldwin, Jane Krakowski, Jack McBrayer and Tracy Morgan.
