Sarah Jessica Parker

Sarah Jessica Parker, Filmmakers Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman tell EW that Sarah Jessica Parker has stepped into the role of feminist icon Gloria Steinem in the p***star biopic Lovelace, replacing Demi Moore, who dropped out of the film this week.
It has been a unsettling couple of days for the film, which stars Amanda Seyfried as X-rated actress Linda Lovelace, who became a household name after her 1972 sex film Deep Throat went mainstream. Epstein and Friedman (Howl) announced Moore was joining the project on Jan. 2, but she had not yet shot any scenes for the movie.
Moore stunned the production by dropping out of the film Tuesday, after she suffered a collapse and was rushed to the hospital. A rep for the 49-year-old actress said she had decided to “seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health.”
It has been rough going for her recently. She and Ashton Kutcher announced they would be divorcing after he was publicly accused of cheating on her.
With production on Lovelace already underway, the filmmakers had no choice but to quickly find a replacement for Moore. The Sex and the City actress will begin shooting on Monday.
