Sanjaya Malakar, Family Broadway musical based on the children’s book character, will pause at the New World Stages after the April 24 performance. The show will be August 3rd resurgence in the new MMAC – pronounced “Mack” – Theatre at W. 60th Street between Amsterdam Avenue and 11th Avenue.

The current distribution of the characteristics of “American Idol” Sanjaya Malakar veteran with Remy Zaken, Julia Bray, Cristina Andres, Linda Gabler, Kimiko Glenn, Mykal Kilgore and Morgan Smith.

The show, with music and lyrics and book by Gary Kupper Kupper and Rose Caiola, opened on October 1, . Buddy Crutchfield directs, with choreography by Gail Pennington Crutchfield. The children’s book is by Julianne Moore, actress and writer.

MMAC Theatre is a completely new off-Broadway to be released as part of the Manhattan Movement and Arts Center (MMAC). A few steps from Lincoln Center, the new 199-seat theater “will bring great entertainment to the Upper West Side.”
