Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif And Mohammad Amir Jailed For Spot-fixing, Salman Butt, former Pakistan captain, has been sentenced to two years and six months in prison for his role in the case of in situ fixation, Mohammad Asif has a term of imprisonment of one year and six months Amir Mohammad. Mazhar Majeed, the players’ agent has been sentenced to two years and eight months.
“Clearly it was the orchestrator of these issues,” said Cooke Justice Butt. “You had to be to ensure that these two players went bowling at the time of the review.”
