Sagrada Familia Arson

Sagrada Familia Arson, A fire deliberately started this morning in the church of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, and police and firefighters evacuated about 1,500 tourists from the building.

A man described as “disturbed” in the vault of the nave of the church in the region at 10:45 am started the fire. A number of firefighters and firefighting teams rushed to the scene and took three quarters of an hour to douse the flames and smoke of lucidity.

According to the Mayor of Barcelona, Jordi Hereu, the city has suffered no damage to the formation of the crypt and no one was hurt in the incident. One person had to be treated for the effects of smoke inhalation, but otherwise everyone in the vicinity at the time of the fire unscathed.

Visits to the Basilica were arrested this morning, but the church will reopen as normal this morning, but obviously do not have access to the crypt will be allowed.
