Sag Awards, (AP) – Colin Firth and Christian Bale are expected home Screen Actors Guild Awards awards at a ceremony that looks like a prelude to acting honors at the Oscars.

Of the 20 candidates guild prize Sunday night at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, 17 also received Oscar nominations, with Firth looked almost win some best actor in two productions of “The King’s Speech” and Bale risk support actor-recipient for “The Fighter”.

Best supporting actress and actor honors and are more competitive. Other nominees lead acting honors for both the Guild and Academy Awards on February 27 include last year’s winner Jeff Bridges for “True Grit” and Nicole Kidman for “Rabbit Hole”, James Franco for “127 hours” Jesse Eisenberg for “The Social” and Jennifer Lawrence for “Winter’s Bone” Network.

Nominated for the overall performance of the melting Guild Awards are “Black Swan,”The Fighter”,”The Kids Are All Right “,”The King’s Speech” and “The Social Network. “All five were among the 10 best picture candidates in the Oscars, where” social network “and” The King’s Speech “are considered the front-runners for the biggest prize in Hollywood.

Individual winners of last year at the Guild Awards – Bridges for “Crazy Heart,” Sandra Bullock for “The Blind Side” Mo’nique for “Precious” and Christoph Waltz “Inglourious Basterds” – all won Oscars.

But the price of iron, considered the equivalent of a guild honor best film, has a spotty record in predicting the top Oscar winner.
