Russ Grimm

Russ Grimm, Russ Grimm speech was short and direct, blue collar style of the Brothers Grimm himself as a player and coach. He thanked his family, his home town, their teams and their fans. But there were two great moments especially in the speech of Grimm does not matter.

First, Grimm began his career as a linebacker and move strongly opposed to the line, as Grimm recalled saying: “I’ll never play with my hand on the ground.” Fortunately, Grimm received some wise advice of the offensive line coach Joe Moore: “There is no greater feeling of a man moving from point A to point B, against their will.”

In addition, Grimm – never pork – announced during his speech he was embroidering the names of his fellow pigs within its Hall of Fame jacket as a constant reminder of the guys who helped him achieve his success, now immortalized. It was an elegant gesture of an accomplished Hall of Fame.
