Ruby Heartbreaker, (CNN) – An Italian sex scandal that led to protests across the country on alleged abuses of power and the Prime Minister to pay an underage girl for sex started at a dinner in Milan with a dancer of Moroccan origin known as “Ruby Heartbreaker.” The dancer, Karima El Mahrough, was 17 years old when the alleged sexual encounter with Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, according to prosecutors in Milan. The performer with long legs, which has since appeared in photographs wearing light across the country, told the Italian news channel Sky TG24 that she lied about her age before meeting with Berlusconi for dinner at his private residence near Milan.

“He knew that I was 24 because I told everyone that I was 24, she said. “I do not want people to know that I was a minor.”

It was during this first meeting on Valentine’s Day in 2010 that El Mahrough said she received 7,000 euros (about and 9,300) after informing a friend Berlusconi who needed help.

He is also said to have abused his power by calling for a police station for officers lobbying for her release after it was held on suspicion of theft.

Miss Mahroug, now 18, denied having sexual relations with Berlusconi, but admits having received at least £ 5500 after attending one of his holidays at home.

Berlusconi claims he is the target of politically motivated judges supported by his leftist opponents who are determined to oust him from power.

Judge Cristina Di Censo trial set for April 6 in Milan following an expedited request of prosecutors.

Three female judges appointed Carmen D’Elia, and Giulia De Cristofaro Orsolina Turri, to decide the case.

The decision comes just days after more than a million people took to the streets in Italy to protest against the sex scandal.

Prosecutors say they have amassed nearly 800 pages of telephone, text messages intercepted and the bank account against the Prime Minister of Italy.

Piero Longo, a lawyer for Berlusconi and a member of parliament for the ruling LDP, reacted calmly to the trial decision. “We do not expect anything,” he said.

The judge ruled that Di Censo nightclub dancer Miss Mahroug, whose stage name is Ruby Heartbreaker, was a “party aggrieved”, even if the youth has insisted Berlusconi “do not touch” her.
