Rowan Atkinson, Blackadder actor has been released from Peterborough City Hospital, but has a fractured scapula after his super car crashed on the A605 near to Haddon Peterborough, Cambridgeshire Thursday night.
The car went off a wet road in a tree and a traffic signal, but Atkinson managed to escape the car before it burst into flames.
Agent Atkinson, Peter Bennett-Jones said the accident happened as Atkinson was heading to his home in Northamptonshire after the filming of his new film, Johnny English Reborn.
His agent told the Daily Mirror: “He has a fractured scapula, which is very painful and why I had to stay overnight. He is shaken, not stirred. I think he was in pain and had pain.
This was the second accident Atkinson in his supercar 2 million pounds – who previously starred in 1999′s F1 and out without any injuries.
Bennett-Jones said the car enthusiast Atkinson will want your pride and joy repaired as soon as possible.
He added: “The car has been withdrawn and I am sure you will not want it to be written. You want to have it repaired immediately.
“He’ll be very nervous and I think I want to keep as low a profile as possible.”
A spokesman for Cambridgeshire Police said the star was not arrested but had been interviewed about the accident.
