Rosie Jones, The Antigua Group, Inc., a leading designer of the nation and marketer of lifestyle apparel under the distinction of Antigua and Slazenger brands has been named official apparel licensee of the 2011 U.S. U.S. Solheim Cup Team. Antigua holding the 12 players on the U.S. team shirts Antigua tailored pants and skirts during the seven days of the Solheim Cup 2011, which will be played September 23 to 25, 2011 at Killeen Castle, County Meath, Ireland.
“All of us in Antigua are very proud to have been selected by the LPGA to design and develop the uniforms of the U.S. Solheim Cup team of 2011 matches,” said Ron McPherson, president and CEO of Antigua Group. “This opportunity is a great honor and a challenge for our product development team. We have had meetings with the terrible directional LPGA staff and of course the captain and his assistants Rosie Jones, Juli Inkster and Sherri Steinhauer. Therefore, the process of design and development is well underway and we cannot wait to see the first samples. ”
