Rory McIlroy British Open

July 18, 2011 by staff

Rory McIlroy British OpenRory McIlroy British Open, The U.S. Open champion finished 25 sets, seven over par for the championship, with most damage in a weekend that exposed the limitations discipline of the game McIlroy able links.

The time and the vagaries of the draw are a central component of the challenge to the weather. Having found himself on the wrong side of the draw, McIlroy effectively canceled his chances of winning the major internal unless the sun never shines and the wind rises above a zephyr.

“I’m not a fan of golf tournaments, where results are expected by both the weather, not my kind of golf,” he said after the signing of a beaten dog three over par 73.

“My game is suitable for basically any golf course and most conditions, but these conditions not only enjoy playing in. That’s the bottom line. I prefer to play when it is 80F (27C) and the sun and the wind much.

“We played a round robin one year, so I will not change a tournament. That I can win an Open. I have only to wait a year when the weather is nice.”

For a man with a remarkable ability, possibly unique, to strike a golf ball handling, the answer is a tone McIlroy defeated after a weekend of discipline. There is no doubt that his impressive work of iron is capable of defeating the course of soft green areas that proliferate on the PGA Tour, including the U.S. Open penal set-up.

But the evidence of the last decade suggests that the age of 22 could be thirty years before the British links is similar to Florida for four days of an Open.

Tiger Woods walked to victory in a sun-baked Hoylake in 2006, without touching his driver and one can imagine McIlroy do something similar, given similar conditions and the blessing of his best. But that was an exception to the Open Championship that conditions are so integral to your potential customers and touch around the greens.

McIlroy confession may have the virtue of honesty, but his attitude was exhibited by men was associated for a weekend of punishment. Rickie Fowler and Sergio Garcia? One hand the lessons of Ulster in making the best of conditions, beating him by six and five shots respectively.

Both showed more flexibility, imagination and, bluntly, the determination of McIlroy, who was worried about the weather from the first tee on Saturday.

The vision of what helped her into a top of a marshall rain in a downpour on the second green, like a child who struggles with his pajamas, he summed up his day.

McIlroy did not appear to enjoy a moment of defiance on Sunday either.

A double bogey and five in the third immediately followed a birdie on the second after a detour to a gorse bush.

She had her first court of bad luck a week in the seventh, where he received a penalty stroke after his ball was blown across the lawn on his way to his birdie putt. Birdie opportunity became a ghost and evaporated the enthusiasm he had for his daily work.

While fighting was treated by a statement of Garcia? One of the skills required for the conditions. McIlroy has already achieved a great victory that has so far proved beyond the last major European golf prodigy, but still enjoys the Spanish Open. His control in the teeth of the wind was perfect, nowhere more so than in the long 14, where he hit driver, two iron, six iron, none of them rising higher than a house.

There is nothing to prevent similar McIlroy hit shots. Enjoy it is another matter. “Of course I can [adaptation],” he said, “but it’s a matter of being comfortable doing that, and there is no point in changing his game for one week a year.”

Given the prize on offer, many will say that there are all the points, but for now will focus McIlroy to win the PGA Championship next month in the warm climate of Atlanta.

“Hopefully the weather is decent in the country, and I will spend a few weeks at home getting my swing back to where it needs to be. You know the type of wind that damaged a bit. So I have wanted to return to America, Akron playing conditions and nice again. ”

Galleries hoping to encourage an open victory in Britain in the short term had better pray for better weather.
