Robert Pickton Tape

February 11, 2012 by staff

Robert Pickton Tape, A two-hour grilling of Robert Pickton recorded by RCMP investigators will be released to media outlets early Wednesday afternoon Pacific time.

The Missing Women Commission of Inquiry heard a 14-minute excerpt of the interrogation Tuesday, when lead RCMP investigator Mike Connor acknowledged the failure to convict Pickton at that point likely allowed dozens of women to be murdered.

Pickton was being questioned about an investigation into a bloody knife fight with a woman known to the commission as ‘Ms. Anderson’ – who managed to escape from the now-convicted mass murderer in March 1997. The attempted-murder probe was later abandoned.
