Robert Bobby SpillaneRobert Bobby Spillane:The actor and playwright Robert “Bobby” Spillane, son of New York mobster Mickey Spillane, died Saturday after falling from her sixth floor apartment in downtown Manhattan.

According to police, the young Spillane was leaning against the display window of the apartment, shouting to his brother, when he yielded. He fell out the window and hit a tree on the way down.

Bobby’s uncle, Jim McMa**s, said: “The poor guy had a terrible accident.”

Michael Spillane, the brother Bobby was calling, witnessed the tragic accident.

McMa**s added, “Michael said he will never forget the shock when [Bobby] hit the ground. He said:” That will be in my mind forever. ”

The investigation is ongoing.

Bobby appeared on television shows like “Law & Order” and “Rescue Me.” He lost his father in 1977 when he was 12. His father, Mickey, was a legendary gangster, known for the operation of the rackets on the West Side in the 1960s.
