Rob Lytle, Rob Lytle lived almost the dream of every young child. He scored a touchdown in a Super Bowl. It was at that moment in Super Bowl XII, who became forever a part of NFL history. That moment will live forever, but it’s only for a brief moment in the life of the rider and his father. The legendary football player died yesterday at the age of a heart attack.

During his lifetime Rob Lytle received a list of accomplishments and awards that all the dreams of little football player. On the football field, Lytle was an unstoppable force, an All-American athlete Lytle took place third in the race for the Heisman Trophy in 1976. Drafted by the Denver Broncos, Rob Lytle spent seven seasons playing for the team that finally lead to the Super Bowl. In his rookie season, scored the only touchdown of the team during the Super Bowl.

He is survived by his wife Tracy Lytle, Lytle’s son Kelly, daughter of Erin Lytle Tober, granddaughter of Audrey and her father William Lytle.
