Rihanna Birthday Cake Remix

Rihanna Birthday Cake Remix, Rihanna spoke to Ryan Seacrest this morning about her decision to record again with Chris Brown. RiRi told the host she enlisted her ex for her ‘Birthday Cake‘ remix simply because he’s “the hottest R&B artist out right now.”
While some fans were upset that Rihanna would work with the man who once abused her, the singer says he was the best fit for her remix. She also appeared on Breezy’s ‘Turn Up the Music’ remix, but she says ‘Birthday Cake’ came first – and she was the one who initiated the collaboration:
“I reached out to him about doing ‘Birthday Cake’ because that’s the only person that really – it made sense to do the record, just as a musician. Despite everything else, that was going to be the person. I thought about rappers, and I’ve done that so many times, and the hottest R&B artist out right now is Chris Brown. So I wanted him on the track, and then in turn he was like, ‘Why don’t you do the remix to my track?’ and it was a trade off. We did two records. One for my fans. One for his fans, and that way our fans can come together. There shouldn’t be a divide. It’s music, and it’s innocent.”
RiRi tackled a number of other subjects during the convo. She admitted that she has stopped dieting and has no idea why she’s continuing to lose weight, given her 3AM runs to McDonald’s. She reiterated how challenging it was to act in ‘Battleship,’ saying, “You can only imagine how nervous I was going in to such a big budgeted film as an amateur.”
