Ricky Williams:Ricky Williams is confident about the future, Williams, Miami Dolphins running back, had declared at the start of last season he would retire after a two-year contract worth just over $ 4 million. He already retired once after the 2004 season.
Ricky Williams is not sure whether to retire at the end of the 2011 season.
BYE-BYE Ricky?: Ricky Williams is comfortable with himself enough to pass a tell-all documentary about his life.
Miami Dolphins running back was at last night’s premiere of “Run Ricky Run: difficult to tackle more difficult to put a finger on,” at the Colony Theater in Miami Beach, Fla. He said he can imagine life after football ever closer to reality and was not sure whether he’ll play beyond this season.
“I’m not sure,” said Williams. “There is a very good chance it could be, but I’m not sure. My body is probably the most important factor in the decision. Football is a game, especially the way I play, where if you can not be 100 percent can not do it. ”
But after the screening, which received a standing ovation from the crowd, Williams seemed to get carried away a bit by the emotional feeling I felt from the audience. He stood on stage and sent a handful of questions, including one that put him in a bind when asked if he could see himself playing three more years.
“I want to play is always fun yet,” said Williams. “I know I said this will be my last year, but I’m starting to doubt it. With Ronnie Brown on the backfield and Coach Tony Sparano and the team is fine as they are now, is still fun.”
