RG3, Posting this latest Robert Griffin III rumor falls under the “we mention all things RG3″ category. I mean, as opposed to the “hey, this buzz sounds fairly legit and therefore let’sanlyze its merits until we’re burgundy in the face” blog entry.

Reporting from the NFL Combine in Indianapolis where Griffin ran fast and wowed the football world, NFL writer John Czarnecki wrote about his Top 10 observations from the annual meat market. His third item focused on the interest – or in this instance, lack thereof – being generated surrounding the second overall pick in the April draft. The Rams are expected to ship the pick, likely to a team wanting the Heisman Trophy winner.

“The Rams have their fingers crossed on this scenario while the media world merely talks about Cleveland and Washington as being the most logical trading partners,” Czarnecki wrote. “The Rams want a lot, and Cleveland’s two first-round picks (4th and 22nd) won’t be enough compensation for the second pick in the draft. The Rams know the Redskins will be aggressive, but they have been getting weird, uninterested signals from the Browns.
