Reporter Harassed By Jets, While Andrea Peyser idiots EmailShare0Share11 Clinton Portis John Riggins weighed on Tuesday, Ines Sainz – sports reporter in Mexico currently in a U.S. publicity tour after the alleged harassment by the New York Jets in a practice over the end of week – wrote a column for El Universal explain his version of events.

While there is nothing here that we have not heard in the past two days, the work amounts to the most comprehensive statement on the matter Sainz. And he gave me the opportunity to dust off my high school Spanish.

Immersed in controversy in the media Swirl NY

It gives me particular pleasure to share directly with you what has happened here in New York, as I told you that was in the Big Apple with the special assignment to interview Mark Sanchez, who managed a successful interview, but during which I was involved in a dispute of massive proportions.

The facts have come out in a thousand ways and want to share my experience on the topic: Yes, it is true that he lived an awkward moment in the Jets’ locker room. From the moment I began to discuss and fuss about me, but in my profession I have learned to ignore the circumstances that can distract me from performing my job, my attitude towards them was serious, I tried not to see or hear anything. I felt it was the best I could do while waiting for Mark Sanchez to complete training.

As he waited with his eyes fixed on the cabinet Marcos, another journalist who saw the events approached me and politely disagrees with what was happening. He said: “I am very sorry indeed, this is something that should not happen, I feel very bad for you.” To which I replied (trying to calm him down a bit), do not worry, that I was able to handle the situation and prefer to pretend that nothing happened.

But that was only the beginning of what I can today qualify as a flurry of news about the incident. The NFL and the real owner of the Jets have expressed their concern to me about what happened and, in particular, he apologized on behalf of the entire team.

What surprised me was the speed and efficiency with which relevant [NFL officials] have addressed this issue, and after seeing how they have carried out the research, I decided to leave everything in their hands and not go beyond this issue. I gave a copy of the recorded material, based on itsanlysis and witness statements, which shall exercise his trial and determine whether or not there will be consequences for someone.
