Randy Quaid, Randy Evi Quaid and his wife were arrested late Saturday on charges of felony theft after the owner of his old house called police to say they were living illegally in this country … and destroying the joint.
The Quaid were charged with felony burglary and entering a building with no commercial purposes without consent, a misdemeanor. Evi’ve slapped with additional charges – resisting arrest.
The owner of the property called Santa Barbara County sheriff’s deputies to report squatters living in their guesthouse. Apparently, the Quaid was the owner of the house years before.
A contractor caused claimied Quaid and 5000 in damages.
Last year, the Quaid were arrested on charges of trying to defraud an innkeeper of $ 10,000. Evi eventually pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge and was sentenced to three years probation.
