Rachel Yoder 1.5 Miles AwayRachel Yoder 1.5 Miles Away, The bullet struck the 15-year-old in the head in an incident that has been described as an ‘accidental shooting’ by Holmes County Sheriff Timothy Zimmerly. Yoder was found a day after she died by her brother outside their home in Fredricksburg, in neighbouring Wayne County.

Sheriff Zimmerly said she fell from the buggy when the horse arrived at the home and a bullet was found in her head, but no bullet holes were in the buggy and no casings were nearby.

‘In all probability, it looks like an accidental shooting,’ he added. Obviously, that makes them feel a lot better than if someone might have been targeting the Amish or (if it was) a random shooting murder.’ o charges have been filed.
