Quebecer Stalker Alec Baldwin

April 11, 2012 by staff

Quebecer Stalker Alec Baldwin, Quebec showbiz wannabe Genevieve Sabourin, in court Monday in New York accused of stalking Alec Baldwin, was ordered to leave him alone. You saw that earlier item? They met making the 2002 Eddie Murphy bomb The Adventures of Pluto Nash. She was a publicist (tough job, on that picture); he had a cameo. The dirty-minded among you will assume they had a little fling. The timing was right: He was just splitting with Kim Basinger. Whatever happened then, Sabourin has been pestering Baldwin lately, reportedly asking him to give her children.

Police sources tell the New York Daily News that what really set her off was the news April 2 that Baldwin will marry his 28-year-old yoga teacher. Sabourin is saying she and Baldwin were lovers last year, the Daily News said. He confirmed that they had dinner twice in ’11, but that it was “strictly professional” – he was just doing her a favour by finding her some movie roles. Hey, it could even be true.

Golf, explained: Emily Blunt tells The Telegraph what’s so good about her new hobby: “I’ve just started to play golf. There’s something cool about whizzing around on a golf cart with ice-cold beers. I even have a golf outfit, which I actually like to wear.”

Girlfriend gifting: Remember I told you about Jennifer Lopez giving her young friend Casper Smart an SUV? Well, now comes word that Lady Gaga gave her boyfriend, Taylor Kinney, a stray cat.

She’s started a 110-date concert tour and doesn’t want Taylor to get lonely and, you know, start seeking out other companionship. So, reports The Sun in England, she acquired this cat someplace, named her Polly, and gave her to the bf. “Taylor loves cats and Gaga – has given the pet to Taylor so he can love it for ever and really cherish it,” Nameless Insider told the paper.

I don’t know why you say goodbye: Married? Want to stay that way? Stay off the cover of Hello mag, then – the British edition, at least. They did the math, and here’s the deal: In the whole British population, only seven per cent of Britons get divorced within six years of getting hitched. But if your wedding is featured on the cover of Hello, the figure jumps to 16 per cent. You have been warned!
