Quake News: Earthquake San Diego, A San Diego neighboring earthquake today was felt across Coachella and Southern California. The San Diego earthquake today April 13, 2012 was the latest to strike the Coachella and Indio region, and could be felt in sections of Riverside.

The San Diego neighboring quake today struck at 11:28 am. USGS reports to news that the quake had a nominal depth. As a result, it could be felt across the immediate region. The quake struck with a epicenter of only six miles below the earth’s surface.

USGS reports to news that quake was seven miles from Coachella. It was located only nine miles east of Indio and fifteen miles from La Quinta. The quake was also eighteen miles from Palm Desert and north east of San Diego.
