Psoriatic Arthritis

Psoriatic Arthritis, Phil Mickelson woke up the Sunday before the U.S. Open and could not walk.

He began his press conference Tuesday at the PGA Championship with the revelation that he is getting treatment for a condition identified as psoriatic arthritis.

“Psoriatic arthritis is where the immune system attacks the joints and tendons,” Mickelson aid of his ailment. “And so I say that because everything is fine now. I’ve been starting treatment, and things have been great. It’s very treatable.”

Mickelson said he went to the Mayo Clinic in Minneapolis after the British Open. After his initial incident five days before the U.S. Open, said he got worse and he knew something was wrong.
